Support Café Operations as an Assistant Manager at MatchaMe!

Position Overview:

As the Assistant Cafe Manager at MatchaMe, you’ll work closely with the Cafe Manager to ensure smooth daily operations of our delivery-only matcha cafe. You’ll assist in managing the team and ensuring that every order meets our high-quality standards.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Team Support:

    • Assist in supervising baristas and other staff, providing support and guidance.
    • Help manage scheduling, shift coverage, and payroll tasks.
    • Foster a positive work environment and assist with team training.

2. Operational Assistance:

    • Help oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
    • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
    • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained.

3. Customer Service:

    • Support the Cafe Manager in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through accurate and timely order preparation.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

4.Quality Control:

    • Assist in ensuring all matcha drinks meet MatchaMe’s quality standards.
    • Help implement and monitor health and safety protocols.

5. Marketing and Promotion:

    • Collaborate with the Cafe Manager on marketing strategies and promotions.
    • Help analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.

5. Training and Development:

    • Support training new staff and provide ongoing development for the team.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and assist in integrating new techniques.

Qualifications:

    • Experience in a cafe, restaurant, or similar environment, with some leadership responsibilities.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Customer service-oriented with attention to detail.
    • Ability to assist with inventory management, budgeting, and financial tracking.
    • Passion for matcha and a desire to help lead a dynamic team.
